Delivery van driver over limit

Security staff manning the main gates at the QinetiQ missile testing base at Aberporth during mid afternoon smelt alcohol on the breath of a van driver making a delivery to the site and alerted the police.

MP welcomes fall in jobless numbers

Unemployment figures for April 2012 published today by the Office for National Statistics showed that the number of unemployed claimants in the Preseli Pembrokeshire constituency in April 2012 was 1,530. The number of claimants is 139 higher than in April 2011 and 117 lower than in March 2012.
